Walk gently through the world

Sorry for posting this a day late, we were travelling yesterday. This is my card for Card Patterns sketch #151. This week we are sponsored by DRS Designs rubber stamps. Here’s the sketch:

I loved this great quote and gave it centre stage on the card. Glossy cardstock was brayered with dye inks in the following order: Lemonade, Crushed Olive, Bamboo Leaves, Meadow, Peeled Paint, Oregano, Forest Moss. Then I splattered the card with water to create texture. The sentiment was stamped with Archival Jet Black and the shoe prints with Olive. The branches were die cut from grungepaper, painted gold, coated with Rock Candy crackle paint, and rubbed with Black Soot Distress Stain when dry.
